Who Is Charles Misra?
Straight off the bat, I will refrain from suggesting that I am by any means important enough to have had this written for me. So rather than attempting to fob you off with ole that third person malarky that is not fooling anybody, hello… this is me! And I am Charles Misra.
I am a British born author and artist, living and working somewhere between England and India. I have been working (or at least pretending to work) in and around the film industry for over 30 years now, in various guises ranging from runner to writer to art work and set designer. And on the odd occasion in an acting capacity as well. I have even managed to sneak myself into the odd feature film or two.
Over the course of the last ten years however, I have found myself drawn to and concentrating my creative efforts on my writing career, after discovering overwhelming inspiration in the greatest ‘thing’ that I ever did. That being, meeting and eventually marrying my wife, Anandita.
Although I am sure she would rather not be, she now is the reason that I wake each morning (her alarm does go off very early) She is the reason that I am now a proud citizen of India (which is as exciting as it sounds) and she is the sole motivation and inspiration behind not only Project #501, but also a catalogue of books and writings that it will be a pleasure to introduce you to through this website. It should also be made abundantly clear however, that whether she admits it or not, it is also entirely her ‘fault’ that Project #501 ever happened at all.
